Composer Of The Month – Garry Hardman

Garry began his career working for Crawford Productions as a music editor on the early TV series such as Division 4, The Sullivans, Homicide, Police Rescue, Blue Healers and The Flying Doctors.

In 1978 he established a music company in Sydney specialising in original music for the entertainment industry. He continued to work on Australian TV shows such as Neighbours and Sons & Daughters (972 episodes) as well as overseas productions including 3 series of the BBC Sci Fi production “Jeopardy”.

His composing assignments included drama series, telemovies, feature films, documentaries and advertising. He has also produced many production music albums for International music publishers, his favourite genre being drama which offers the most potential for creativity.
